250x Dynamic Fine digital zoom allows you to zoom even further, this gives you an equivalent focal length of 6000mm. To accommodate these extreme focal lengths, Nikon Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction system is built into the Nikon Coolpix P 1100 Camera. This provides four stops of optical image stabilisation, ideally for when handheld shooting to reduce camera shake.

The rear of the Nikon Coolpix P1100 Camera features a 3.2" vari-angle, 921k-dot LCD monitor as well as an eye-level 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder.
